Vladimir and Aleksandra Radojevic
"Vladimir Grijakovic belongs to the generation of our parishioners who work hard and have worked hard, and centered their life around St. George parish life and activities. This generation has such a great appreciation of all the blessings that life brings, knowing that God's infinite love and providence guides us all. Vladimir was an active choir member and a great ambassador for St. George parish. His words were spoken from his heart with great love, care and honesty and a deep concern for each person: "You need to come to church". This is an admonition of a man that deeply cares not for temporal recognition and applause, but for the lasting and salvific 'destiny' of each person. May your memory be eternal dear Vladimir! Vjecnaja pamjat!" Fr. Bratso Krsic
Vlad was our "across the street" neighbor and he was the very first person to welcome us into the neighborhood when we moved here in 2007. He brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He was always chatting with my husband and me, about politics, the state of the union, our cars, etc. He was a very distinguished gentleman, always dressed impeccably and always willing to lend a hand if you needed it. We will miss him every day. Rest in Peace, dear Vlad!
This man was the light of my life, he always supported me when a lot of people did not. Always warm and smiling and if you needed a hug he was there. Since I was 8 or 9, he always called me Princess. He will be missed dearly.
Vecnaja Pamjat
I sang side by side with Vladimir (Vlado) in the St. George Choir for the past 16 years. He was a true inspiration every Sunday, with his positive attitude and love for our church and choir. At the conclusion of the liturgy he made sure to remind me not to miss next Sunday and that our choir depended on everyone being there. Quite a gentlemen, impeccably dressed every Sunday, I always called him "Dapper Dan Vlad". We traveled together on many occasion singing with our St. George Choir and "Serbian Singing Society" choir events. He was well known in all the places we traveled and people we always happy to see him. As I continue to sing in the St. George choir every Sunday, I will always look at the sport where he stood every Sunday and always think of him and, miss his tenor voice.
Memory Eternal and Vecnaja Pamjat, rest in peace Vlado.

Vlado was always St. George Choir's most reliable tenor. He was the first to introduce himself to anyone new to our parish and would invite them to come sing with the choir. He always had a smile on his face. We will miss him.

We will miss his smile and calling our son Andreja little “Princ”. His joy for songs and community celebrations and often overheard “i-ju” will be missed greatest. We will remember his kind heart forever. Bradic Aleksandar, Jelena and Andreja.
I will miss him calling me "Strauss"
