Continued from There's no "K" in mom.
Being educated and employed has helped them be able to have financial resources for their retirement years, travel and experience some of the world and share with others.
“A” stands for Available. My mom was available to talk to in my growing up years. (It helps to share a bathroom!) Mom was available because of her job too, since she had a “school” schedule. She has been available by phone throughout my life and I treasure our phone calls and visits. She is my friend.
“F” stands for Faithful. My mom has been faithful to my dad. They’ve been married since she was 21. If my math is correct, they’ve been married 64 years. She has been faithful to God. She was faithful as an employee and always tried to do her best. She didn’t pretend to be ill when she wasn’t. She didn’t take things that weren’t hers. She paid her taxes. She gave to the church. She didn’t say she’d do something and then not do it. She has been law-abiding.
My mom has not been perfect, since she is human, but these attributes are what I see and appreciate about her. This is about my mom for Mother’s Day, but she could not have done and been these things without my dad. (I’ll write one for Dad for Father’s Day!) Mom and Dad have become “One” and
help each other and are a good team. ( see Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12.)
So how do you spell mom? I spell it KRCSBWEEAF! Mother’s day 2016
