Marcia was Special, with a caring heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and also strong in spirit.

I visited for Thanksgiving several years ago, and we spent a day checking out several Fabric and Quilt shops, because she knew I'd like that. On that visit we painted and stitched Christmas ornaments. We picked oranges from their trees to squeeze fresh juice and made orange marmalade. When the sisters, spouse, and nephew arrived we all made something in her lovely kitchen for a fantastic Thanksgiving feast.

And yes, she made her famous pizza. It was wonderful precious family time. I thank Marcia and Jeff for the great memories I have from that time spent together.

I will miss Marcia forever.

Marcia was a wonderful sister who was always thoughtful, generous and had a way of making you feel special and loved. She had a great sense of humor, and our time together was always filled with laughter.

Christmas was a big celebration when we were growing up and Marcia continued the tradition. During our holiday visits, we baked cookies and watched Christmas movies, shared collecting airplane ornaments each year and tried to surprise each other with unexpected gifts. Marcia would remember when I liked something in a store or at the San Diego airport gift shop when I was on my way home and it would be one of my gifts the next Christmas. I tried to do the same by surprising her with a set of our mother's embroidered towels one year and the missing glass for her animal carousel glass set another year. It gave me so much joy to surprise her and bring her happiness.

Through the years, we spent time together over the summers and holidays and all my memories of Marcia will be forever cherished.

Marcia will be missed more than words can express. I am blessed that she was my sister and every moment I shared with Marcia was a gift to me.

Our last get-together with Marcia! I’ll miss those sushi birthday dinners with our bottle of wine🍷 or two sometimes! Loved working with you for those 15 years and picking goodies at the Marlow orchard when you retired. RIP by friend!

Marcia had wonderful eclectic interests: tennis, ancient ruins, astronomy …. plus classes in botany, Italian, cooking ….

The cooking classes led to PIZZA. Marcia was the one in our family who first started making pizza from scratch using a pizza stone and a peel for sliding the pizza in. Wonderful, delicious fun.

She showed the rest of us and it has become a fantastic shared family effort that we all make with our families.

I worked with Marcia for several years at Prudential. She was loved by everyone in our work division because she was always positive, happy and kind to everyone. A great loss to Jeff and her family and friends, like me.
