We loved and admired Aunt Janice as we did our Uncle Charles. They were such a wonderful, loving couple, with an inspiring flair for life, and an endearing sense of humor.
Frankly, every time that we visited Charles and Janice, I was in awe of her beautiful, immaculately clean home, her delicious cooking, and elegant style. She created a welcoming, warm environment in their home where you just wanted to snuggle in and enjoy their company. I know that she worked hard to create that atmosphere, however, she made it seem natural and effortless. It was a major talent! Her love and joy in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was so evident. The home was virtually always bustling with the activity of children. She loved it!
She was such a wonderful wife, supportive, patient, and loving. She sat quietly while Charles told his fascinating stories, never interrupting or reminding him that he might have recounted that story before. (a better woman than me!) Charles was a lucky man and he knew it!
Janice's daughters learned so much from their Mother. The way she conducted her life inspired them and helped make them become the fine women they are today. They will miss her so.
We are so grateful to have had Janice and Charles in our lives. We always anticipated seeing them with great joy. They were an important part of our lives and it a privilege to honor them.
With love and deep affection,
Molly and Joseph (Joe) Montgomery
