Dorothy Ann Villacres' Obituary
January 6th, 1934 - March 9th, 2015
Dorothy was a loving Mother, devoted Wife, and friend to many. She was a devout Irish Catholic, who attended Mass on a regular basis. Dorothy was a strong-willed and independent woman, who put the needs of her family first. For many years she worked part-time at a local hospital. Dorothy was the backbone of the Villacres family. She was the parent who set the rules, made sure her children completed their homework, and had good manners. After she retired, Dorothy volunteered at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway, California. Dorothy enjoyed going on many boat cruises with her husband, Jorge Byron Villacres. In addition to spending time with her husband and children, Dorothy also felt joy seeing her grandchildren, Simone, Alex, and Nadia, Ramirez, and her son-in-law, Joe Ramirez.
Dorothy had a positive impact, on the lives of people, who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many.
Dorothy Ann Villacres is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jorge Byron Villacres, and her children, Madeline Ramirez & Joe Ramirez - (son-in-law), of Carlsbad, California; Estelle M. Fromm & Jens Fromm - (son-in-law), of Newberg, Oregon; and Robert B. Villacres of Paris, France. She is also survived by her two sisters; Mary Milne, and Maureen Dunlap, as well as her grandchildren, Simone, Alex, and Nadia Ramirez.
