Barbara, I'm so sorry about all you've had to go through. I first met you in the DA's office when I started 20 years ago, and enjoyed you so much. After you left I liked seeing you around Escondido. My husband Alan told me that you took such good care of your animals and you had a heart of gold. My deepest condolences to your family.

We are going to miss your wisdom and kindness and compassion. The world is emptier without you.

Barbara,
What a great friend and co-worker when we were all baby lawyers. The hard work, the laughs and memories are all cherished. I will always remember your calm demeanor except when that one defense lawyer...the one you affectionatly dubbed "the bowling ball" would set you off. It was hilarious. You were the smart calm and reasonable one in an office full of goofballs. Love you lots.

I love and will miss you Barbie. I will never forget the hilarious and tender memories we built through high school, college, and the years beyond. You were always a pillar of courage and strength and truly inspired me. You continue to inspire me. Rest in peace my good friend.

Thank you for the 34 years together. I Love you so much, much, you said much when you were dying and now I grieve so much...

I love you Barbie. Our crazy times in high school will never be forgotten: Friday night football games, cruising Shoney's afterwards. Fires on the beach at Wine Cove in Va. Beach. Driving that 1940s faded blue Ford when you got pulled & issued a ticket for "impeding traffic" - you pulled away from the cop, grinned & shot him the peace sign. Hilarious to us. Rest in peace my dear friend, until we meet again on the other side. Paula
