Alfonso Alejandro Alvarado Barreda,
Tata, age 79, was born on November 26, 1941 to the small city of Talara, Peru and passed on March 30th, 2021 in San Diego, California. He was raised in Lima, Peru and a very proud alumnus of Colegio Maria Auxiliadora, as well as a proud Peruvian, and a proud American. Follower of “Futbol”, “Arriba Peru” and his cultural-social roots.
However more than anything, he was the proudest of his family.

Even with the hardships of economic instability, Alfonso found a way to come out on top with a technical degree and provided a stable environment for his children to grow up in, something that he was not able to experience himself. All throughout his livelihood, his mantra was to do the most he could for his family, and today it is very clear that he has achieved it.
The powerhouse that he is, he motivated his grandchildren constantly, to pursue anything that they wanted and to continue the strong legacy that he created; the legacy in which consists of hard work and strong values.
Alfonso married his wife, Edita Alvarado October 21th, 1968. They were married for 52 years.
