William R. "Bill" Beckman's Obituary
William R Beckman (Bill) of Escondido, died August 30, 2013, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gerry Beckman, and survived by his sister Pat (James) Kerr, brothers Jim (Sue) Beckman and Dan (Barbara) Beckman, seven nieces and nephews. He graduated Escondido High School, class of 1969. He worked many years for Palomar Memorial Hospital. He was proud to be a resident his entire life in the “Old Escondido Historic District.†He loved animals, especially cats, music, and movies. He was a longtime active member of The Escondido Christian Center. Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to the Escondido Humane Society or San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
