William died peacefully in his sleep, with a smile on his face while watching sports on television. His larger-than-life persona, trademark hugs, smiles, stories will never be forgotten.

Famously opiniated, and had a spicy fire, handed these qualities down to his children, Tya, Alia and Haggan. He had so much pride in his children, and always cheered for their successes. Other than has passion as a veterinarian, he was an athlete and marathon runner in his earlier years.
He was a Vietnam war Veteran and worked with the Sentry Dogs in the Army. He stood tall and strong in the face of grave danger and was a staunch defender of the country he deeply loved.
