WILLIAM “BUD” GRAYKOWSKI
OBITUARY
William “Bud” Graykowski, a General Contractor, awesome father, husband and brother died unexpectedly on October 31, 2020 at the age of 68. Cause of death is pending at this time.
Bud is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his children, Nicole (spouse Charlie) and Ryan; his brother Doc (spouse Linda) and sister Karyn (spouse Bob).
Bud was born in Houma, Louisiana on December 23, 1951 to Leonard and Doris Graykowski. He attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana and then relocated to Ocean Beach when he was in his early twenties. He met Lynn and they married in 1982. Two years later, Nicole was born and then Ryan.
Bud was a devoted father and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed many hunting trips with Ryan and his buddies, teaching them something new each time they went out. He had a green thumb and spent lots of time gardening. He and Nicole loved going out to the river home with family and friends. He always had a German Shorthaired Pointer dog and they were part of the family as well. He passed his love of dogs along to Nicole and Ryan.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Bud’s home. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
