Wendy Elizabeth Wickliffe's Obituary
Wendy Elizabeth Wickliffe died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 due to complications from multiple sclerosis. She was 56. Wendy was born on November 21, 1955 in Laurium, Michigan to Charles D. Wickliffe, a physician, and Daisy Wickliffe, a homemaker and former elementary school teacher. She was the youngest of three children.
The family moved to California from the upper peninsula of Michigan in 1956 and to Escondido in 1957, where Wendy lived all of her life. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, Grant Junior High School and Orange Glen High School, graduating in 1973.
Wendy attended Northeastern University, UCSD and finally San Diego State University, where she earned an elementary teaching credential in Besides being beautiful, Wendy was also very intelligent, and was a natural actress and comedian. She had an outrageous sense of humor and was very funny. She also had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the Modern Chorale, as well as a soprano In her later years she enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to Family Radio. She was dearly loved by her family and close friends and will be greatly missed. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her older sister, Sherry Wickliffe, older brother, Charlie Wickliffe, and nephews Scott (Maya) Grasse, Cody (Erica) Wickliffe, Erik “Moss Man†Heleman, and great-nephew, Aiden Wickliffe;
