Virginia Marie Caster's Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bertha Binford; her brother, Harry Keith Binford; sister, Vivian Harper; and husband, William Harlin Caster. She is survived by her daughter Diana Cook (Curt); sons, Darol Caster (Linda), and Gary Caster (Lorna); grandchildren, Julie Woessner, Jay Bumgardner, Kevin Caster, Christopher Caster, Carissa Caster-Eisele, Darren Caster and Caitlyn Caster, great grandchildren, Michelle Woessner, Andy Woessner, Bryan Caster, Sean Caster, and Juno White; and nieces, Donna Van Dam, Doris Chang, Marlene Casarez, and Kathleen Hicks. She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to Harry and Bertha Binford. Virginia later moved to Escondido with her parents and siblings, Vivian and Harry "Keith" when she was 16 years old. Virginia attended high school at Escondido Union High, graduating as Valedictorian of her class. Virginia loved to go dancing in her younger years, which is how she met her husband. After marrying William "Harlin" Caster, a native of San Marcos., CA, on Prior to starting her family, Virginia worked packing lemons at Escondido Lemon Association and as a secretary at Camp Pendleton during WWII. While her children were young, she devoted her time to being a full time mother and homemaker. She was a member After the death of her husband in 1984. she became an avid traveler.
