Virginia Thomas' Obituary
Virginia is survived by husband, Lloyd "Ed" Thomas; sons, Steven and David; and daughter, Linda. She has eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Virginia was born in Long Beach, CA to Clyde and Irene Whetstone. The family moved to Escondido CA in 1942 and started a ranch. She met Ed Thomas and married in 1945. The couple recently celebrated their 65th anniversary. Along with the full time occupation of raising four children, Virginia had many other facets. She was a Prioress in the Secular Carmelite Order, Water Safety Instructor, Back Packer, connoisseur of the arts and classical music, Genealogist, member of the In Lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Heart Association.
