Virginia “Ginny†Louise Johnson- Bish's Obituary
Virginia “Ginny†Louise Johnson- Bish, 88, passed away at her home on July 12, 2012 with her family by her side. Ginny was born in North Hollywood, CA on Nov. 14, 1923 to Clarence and Mary Ellen Banet. She was the eldest of five. She worked as an administrative secretary at General Electric where she met and later married her husband of 39 years, Spencer Edward Johnson Sr. on June 1, 1947. When Spencer passed in September 1986, she found great strength from her Catholic faith and children. She took great pride and joy in designing their beautiful backyard and maintaining the natural beauty of their land. They were deeply devoted to the Wil She is survived by her 6 children: Spencer, Christine, Ginger, Joe, Pat and Alexine; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial Donations may be made in Ginny’s name to the San Diego Zoo, attention: Memorial Donations, P.O. Box 120551, San Diego, CA 92112. Arrangements are by Alhiser-Comer Mortuary.
