Virginia Blake's Obituary
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Blake. She is survived by her children, Nancy Booth (Gordon), Don Blake (Laurie), Judy Muren (Don), and Patty Mulcahy (Geno). She was the proud grandmother to 13 wonderful grandchildren and four beautiful great-granddaughters. Virginia was a graduate of Hemet High School, Class of 1945, and Chaffey Junior College, Class of 1947. Virginia was a member of the PTA, Girl Scouts of America, and First Congregational Church. She was an avid gardener, quilter, and San Diego Padres Fan. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her wonderfu neighbors. Virginia instilled the importance of serving others to her four children who pursued careers as a nurse, professor, teacher, and occupational therapist. She made "patchwork" quilts for the elderly and homeless right up until the week before she died. Contributions can be made in Virginia Blake's honor to the First Congregational Church or your favorite philanthropic organization.
