My Family and I have had the absolute pleasure of being Ms. Virginia's neighbors for over 9 years. When we first moved onto Cypress Crest, we would see this little lady walking our street everyday. One day I was outside and we met and she asked if I would like to walk with her. I said, of course and that started our friendship and many walks and talks. She would walk everyday at least 4 rounds to make a mile she said! I didn't know how old she was and she never really told me her age...when I would ask she would say 79 with at twinkle in her eye and that smile that let you know she was up to something! She was quite the jokester and one of my favorites would be if she had been sick or to the hospital, when she would return, I would tell her how glad I was that she was home, and she would reply " I was rejected again at the pearly gates, they wouldn't let me in!" She was a vibrant neighbor on our cul-de-sac and we loved her! You will be sorely missed and no matter who lives in her house it will always be Ms. Virginia's house especially to my grandsons who visited her there...You were accepted this time, Ms. Virginia! An abundant entrance was provided for you into the pearly gates!
