Violet M. Thurman's Obituary
Mrs. Thurman was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank Thurman, in 2001. She is survived by her sons William Thurman (Carole) and Alex Thurman (Yolanda); sister Betty Brass (James); five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was in the first graduating class of San Dieguito High School and a graduate of Kelsey-Jenny Business College. She was a member of Eastern Star. She worked as a school secretary at Mayfair High School in Lakewood and Castle Park High School in Chula Vista. Her hobbies included ceramics and reading.
