Viola Atilano's Obituary
Mrs. Atilano was preceded in death by her husband, Max Atilano, in 1992; brother Johnie Pacheco Sr., in 2003 and grandson Peter Atilano Jr. She is survived by daughter Rosalie Atilano and husband Eduardo Zamora of Escondido; sons and daughters-in-law Raul Atilano Sr., Peter and Antonia Atilano Sr., Robert and Eleanor Atilano, all of Escondido; sister Isabelle Thorman of San Diego; brother and sister-in-law Manuel and Inge Pacheco Sr. of San Diego; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She worked as a lemon packer for 38 years and as a housekeeper for Mt. Vernon Inn for seven years. She was a member of many organizations, including St. Mary's Church, Ladies of Resurrection, Grandmothers Club, Escondido Blind Club, VFW Women's Auxiliary The family suggests memorial donations to the Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest Dr., Escondido, CA 92025.
