Terry Thomas
My favorite times with Tom and Cher were on travels abroad and on camping trips here in the west and along the coast.
As a trip planner, Frenchy went over and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. As an RV Camping master, I have a special memory of Frenchy splitting wood, gathering paper, and setting up what would be our evening fire each night at the campsite. That was his job.
And he would look at me, waiting in anticipation, and invite me to light the fire. That became my job when I was lucky. He gave that to me.
Tom prepared the way for others. He put others before and above himself. I may have lit the fire, but he provided the means, and the warmth.
We miss you Frenchy.
You blazed a beautiful trail in your lifetime, buddy, and I like to think that you await us all out there among the stars, with a big smile on your face, on some new amazing trail, and we’ll join you someday.
Until we meet again……..thank you. You touched our lives deeply.
