Theodore Edmund Kleiter's Obituary
Ted was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduated from Harding High School in 1953, then immediately joined the US Navy and served as a sonarman during the Korean War.
While serving in the Navy, he met the love of his life, Georgeiana Montiel, at the USNCCS Club in downtown San Diego. They were married on October 20, 1956, for 66 years!
He then graduated from San Diego State, in 1963, and spent his lifelong career of 50 years in Hospital Administration, at Vista Hill Foundation and many of those years with Palomar Health in Escondido.
His three surviving children with their spouses are Terri (Kevin Mack), Kevin (Jamie), and Mark (Jeanne), who all shared his eleven (11) Grandchildren and fifteen (15) Great-Grandchildren with another one on the way.
Mass to be held at St. Mary’s in Escondido, California, at 10 am on February 28, 2023.
