Teresa Lee Wacker's Obituary
Teresa was born in Escondido and graduated from Escondido High School.
Most recently and for the past 12 years she was the Senior Buyer for the Palomar Community College four campuses and did the job on a solo bases from home for almost a year during the pandemic and a year past.
Her greatest joys had been family camping trips with her late husband Kevin Wacker and adventures with family and her love of Hawaiian dancing with the Dawn Cheek Halau brought her peace.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Wacker and is survived by her two sons, Michael and Robert Ratliff, Her Sister; Alicia Sanchez Hunt, Alicia’s partner, Billie Brown, her brothers, Terence and Keith Caldwell, her mother Rachel Caldwell, God Mother and Aunt; Ramona Tellez, Uncles; Richard Rios, Larry Rios and Raymond Leon, Louie Herrera, Aunts; Rosa Rios, Maria Rios, Alice Rocha, Nieces, Ashley Hunt, Rachel Brown, nephews: Justin Hunt and Billie Brown IV. Teresa was also blessed with four Grandchildren; Kevin, Athena, Gabe and Daza and Cousins too numerous to list.
A viewing and rosary will be held at Alhiser Comer Mortuary at 225 So. Broadway, Escondido, Ca. On 10/11/23 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by Burial at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, 2640 Glen Ridge Road, Escondido, Ca. at 2 p.m.
She was the light of our lives and will be missed more than words can convey.
