Stuart (and Cheryl) were very good to me. I will never forget that he took a chance on a young savage recent graduate and hired me as an apprentice. I had 3 outfits and one pair of shoes and had been on my own since age 17. Alhiser was such a comforting place to work and Stuart was very kind and funny. It was the first time I was exposed to God and this I still carry with me. He was not a micro-manager and all the staff adored him. We wanted to work hard for him. Stuart also kept the freezer stocked and until I received my first paycheck, it was his kindness that provided my daily bread. He and his manager, Dave, were able to train me to be a mortician for the next 30 years of my life. Now I am 50+ and I still thank him in my prayers. I wish him eternal peace.
