Stephen Blaine Ricketts' Obituary
Stephen Blaine Ricketts: 78; Escondido, CA; passed away 12/08/2021 at Palomar Hospital. Cause of death: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. D.O.B. 05/31/1943 in Anderson, IN; son of William Ricketts and Loretta Swiney-Ricketts; he had two sisters: Penny Ricketts-Barrios and Pamela Ricketts-Buonconti. He was married on 05/27/1966 to Marjorie Coleman. He attended Fullerton College and Palomar College. He was US Navy retired; past Commander of American Legion Post 149 and a car dealer in Escondido, CA. He lived in Anderson, IN; Anaheim,CA; Escondido, CA and San Marcos, CA. He loved Corvettes, Harley Davidson motorcycles, music and his beloved San Diego Chargers. He was well known for his corny jokes. He is survived by: his wife, Marjorie Coleman-Ricketts; his two daughters, Cheryl Ricketts-Mulvey (Finbarr Mulvey) and Deborah Ricketts-McNally (Terence McNally): his three Grandchildren: Ireland Mulvey, Fiona Mulvey, Max McNally and his sister Pamela. He was preceeded in death by his parents: William and Loretta; his sister Penny and Walter and Wilva Coleman. Services will be held at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido on 01/28/22 at 1:00pm. Graveside ceremony at Oak Hill Cemetary on 01/28/22 at 2:30pm. Any donations please send to IPF foundation.
