Mrs. Howard is survived by her mother LaVelle Ryker; her sons, Joseph Howard and Michael Howard (Georgetta); her sister, Sherry Kendall; stepsister, Vicki Gouchnauer; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She graduated from Escondido High School in 1957. She worked in the home health care industry and had been retired for 10 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Faith and the Escondido Emblem Club 161.
