Sarah Nichole Fulop's Obituary
Sarah Nichole Fulop, age 27, of Escondido CA, entered peacefully into the arms of Jesus on February 25, 2025 at her home in Escondido due to complications of VEDS (Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).
Sarah was born on September 13, 1997 in Oceanside, CA, to Denes and Joy (Kovacs) Fulop.
She graduated from Escondido Charter High School on May 30, 2015 and received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of California San Diego in December of 2019. Sarah was currently pursuing her master’s degree in teaching and was also working as an assistant teacher at the Health Sciences High and Middle College.
Sarah was baptized in the Escondido Apostolic Christian Church on December 6, 2015. She attended the Escondido AC Church where she was a beloved and valued member of her church family. Many would describe Sarah as passionate and friendly, with a zeal for sharing the gospel and a genuine love for people. She didn’t know a stranger. She wrote many beautiful articles for Kairos (a cross-cultural outreach ministry) and the Silver Lining. Sarah had a passion to spread awareness of VEDS and was a very active support to many in the VEDS community. She loved to travel and had a gift for teaching. She adored her nephews and nieces, saying many times that “auntie life is the best life.” Sarah was real, authentic, and kind. Many will remember her full of life with a bubbly personality. Despite her many health challenges, her faith in God shone brightly to everyone who knew her. She has left a deep hole in her family and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her parents, Denes and Joy Fulop, of Escondido; two brothers, Denny (Allison) Fulop, and Matthew Fulop, both of Escondido, CA; three sisters, Linda (Nick) Cikos of Escondido, CA, Abigail (Robin) Karpati of Baja, Hungary, Natalia Fulop of Escondido, CA; and her brother-in-law, Todd (Desiree) Gasser, of Wadsworth OH; 13 nephews and nieces, Isaac Cikos, Dominic Cikos, Milina Cikos, Jelena Cikos, Maddox Fulop, Hudson Fulop, Conrad Fulop, Zane Fulop, Riley Karpati, Aria Karpati, Liam Karpati, Juniper Gasser, and Indie Gasser; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, beloved friends and church family.
