Art Meier, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and friend, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 from Congestive Heart Failure. Art was born on March 6, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wis., to Rev. Samuel Arthur Meier and Lillian Mohs Meier. He married Charlotte Chandler Meier on May 31, 1951. He will be greatly missed by his wife; sons, Samuel Arthur Meier III, Thomas Owen Meier; daughter, Charlene Meier Ponzio; grandsons, Nathan Andrew Ponzio, Samuel Arthur Meier IV; granddaughters, Eris E In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Art's name to either the Hume Lake Christian Camps; www.humelake.org. or the Elizabeth Hospice Foundation; www.elizabethospice.org, or to: Emmanuel Faith Community Church Campe
