Mr. Ballesteros was preceded in death by his son, Richard Ballesteros. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cristina Ballesteros; daughters Norma Garcia, Cristina Meglich, Esther Amano and Elizabeth Ballesteros; and eight grandchildren Mr. Ballesteros was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and lived in Rancho Bernardo for three years. He was a business owner for 35 years.
