Sally Hullsiek Moffet's Obituary
Sally Hullsiek Moffet: 09.30.1934--07.06.2020
Sally was the loving mother to 3 adult sons, the grandmother to 3 grandchildren; Brianna, Sam and Jack, and the great grandmother to a boy named Jackson.
She died after a 3 month decline that coincided with Covid-19.
Sally loved life and thrived while acting as a greeter at the local Presbyterian Church, Rancho Bernardo Community Church. She and her lawyer son, Ken, served as greeters and it brought them much joy on Sunday mornings.
Sally was pre-deceased, very unexpectedly, by her youngest son, Mark, a North Carolina based physician.
Mark died 6 days before she did on June 30, 2020.
Sally will be remembered for the warmth she exuded as a proud Minnesotan.
Sally lost her beloved husband, Don, in 2013 right before Christmas.
Her son, Ken, retired from the legal profession in Florida to move in with her for the last 7 years of her life in San Diego.
She was cared for til the end by her 2 sons, Kerry and Ken, and Kerry’s wife, Pam, of Torrance, CA.
Prayers and best wishes to a living saint, Sally Moffet.
