Mr. Canalez is survived by his sisters Sarah Mendoza, Maryhope Ronquillo, Lupe Hernandez; sons Rudy Canalez, Jr., Rusty Canalez, Richard Canalez, Randy Canalez; daughters, Ufemia Heard, Anita Bridges and Renee Schuble. He was preceded in death by his wife Ophelia Brieno Canalez. Early in life Rudy was a chef for several restaurants in Escondido and later retired as a Foreman in underground piping for Local Union 89. He loved cooking, camping, horseshoes, playing cards, gardening and family BBQ's. Rudy will be remembered best fo
