Rudolf Paul de Jong's Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willem and Gerritje de Jong; and one sister, Marjan Voorsluys. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Etta; and seven children, William de Jong (Anita), Lisa Luurtsema (Gary), Simon de Jong (Debra), Greta Wybenga (Rob), Rudolf de Jong, Jr. (Gina), Annetta Hommes (Craig) and Arie de Jong (Tami); 31 grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Boy de Jong, Arie de Jong and Kees Jan de Jong; and two sisters, Riet
Walraven and Ella Verschuur. He served in the Netherlands Air Force and at the age of 21, he immigrated to the United States. He worked for Hollandia Dairy for over 45 years and became part owner. He enjoyed collecting old cars, coaching and playing soccer, and listening to music. In his retirement years, he enjoyed visiting his children and grandchildren in Washington, Idaho, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvin Christian Schools or Westminster Seminary.
