Rosemarie Vorkink Bunker's Obituary
Rosemarie Vorkink Bunker was born in Salt Lake City, the second Child to William and Hazel Vorkink. She spent her adult life as the veterinary wife and companion to her beloved husband, Von Clyde Bunker. She grew up in Los Angeles, and attended Los Angeles High School and junior college prior to marrying her high school sweetheart, Von Clyde. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Columbus, Ohio, where Von studied Veterinary medicine at Ohio State University. Rosemarie was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked for many years with the Women's Relief Society. She loved family history and was very involved in genealogy research. A former musician and artist, she began oil and tole She will be remembered fondly as a warm and compassionate mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her five children, Lorene Ensley, Paulene Popek, Jay Bunker, Sharlene Church, and David Lee Bunker, including 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildre In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
