Rosa Hernandez's Obituary
Rosa was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico and has lived in Escondido since 1967. She worked for the past 38 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Escondido Post-Acute Rehab when it was Escondido Care Center. Rosa was devoted to family; she mostly loved playing and cooking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband of 32 years, Agustin Hernandez, sister Enedina Padilla, brothers Robert & Manuel Gonzalez, daughter Anna Edwards, step-daughters Maria Teresa Hernandez & Alicia De Leon, 3 step-sons: Jose De Jesus Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez & Hugo Hernandez, 5 grandchildren: Aloura Edwards-Owens, Calvin Edwards, Jared Edwards, Jennifer Edwards & Duncan Edwards, great-grandchildren: Daylen Ramirez & Ellie Owens.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2014, 4:00 -8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary, 225 S. Broadway, Escondido, CA. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 10:00 AM, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 1160 S Broadway, Escondido.
