Ronald Clay Westlund's Obituary
Faithful Son of God, Ronald Clay Westlund, went home to our father in Heaven on Friday, August 5, 2011, with his family by his side in La Jolla, CA. He passed away due to complications in recovering from leukemia. Ronald Clay Westlund was born in Salina, Utah on September 28, 1946 to Clay David and Sybil Jensen Westlund. He graduated from Skyline High School and received his Bachelor's of Science at the University of Utah. Ron met his loving wife, Susan Black, in 1966 and they were marreid and sealed for time and all eternity on October 27, 1967 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple. They were blessed with two children. He worked as an electrical engineer for over 30 years and loved serving in the LDS Temple in La Jolla as a Temple Worker. He enjoyed hunting, camping, scouting, golf, and best of all spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Clay; and is survived by his wife, Sue; his mother, Sybil; two brothers, Kirk (Helen) and Steve (Vicky); sister, Connie (Mario); daughter, Becky; son, David (Jaime); and three grandsons, Nicasio, Joseph Jr., and Mc
