Ronald R. DeMarino's Obituary
Ronald DeMarino, 87, died February 5, 2023, at Palomar hospital. He was born March 30, 1935, in the Bronx, NY, the son of Hector and Violet (Dalessio) DeMarino.
Ronald graduated from Evander Childs High School in 1952. He also attended Long Island University in New York. Following graduation, Ronald served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War. After the war, he married dancer/entertainer Martha DeMarino, and they settled in Orange County, Ca. They later moved to the Coachella Valley. They had celebrated 49 years of marriage at the time of Martha's death in 2016. Ronald was a professional baseball scout for over 30 years and earned a World Series Ring for his time with the Kansas City Royals. Ronald was a talented cartoonist and sports enthusiast, a passion he shared with his son and grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his parents, his son, Robert, Robert's fiance, Nicole, and his grandson, Camden. In addition to his son and grandson, Ronald is survived by his nieces, nephews, and many more beloved family members.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary at 225 S. Broadway in Escondido. A final burial will be at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego.
