Rodney Carroll Townsend's Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Linda; and sons, Rick Townsend, John and Brian Townsend; stepsons, Gary Shultz and Steve Shultz; his mother, Pauline Townsend; one sister; one brother; four grandsons; and four granddaughters. Rodney was born and raised in Escondido and graduated from Escondido High School in 1964. He owned and operated Wimp and Rods Meats in Escondido for 33 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redwood Terrace Homeship Fund, c/o Marsha, 710 W. 13th Ave., Escondido, CA 92025
