Rochelle "Cookie" Dettman's Obituary
Born August 5, 1936 as the first of three children to Al and Bernice Boese in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her son and his wife, Tom and Tina Dettman of Paso, Texas; as well as her husband of 62 years, Jim Dettman.
Jim and Cookie met at a Luther League meeting at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Michigan City, Indiana and were married at that church on December 20th, 1954.
Her two siblings, Kenneth Boese and Sharon Bronz and their families still live in the Chicago area. Cookie took time to become a Stephens Minister and attended church regularly up until about two years ago.
