Roberto L. Quiambao Jr.'s Obituary
Roberto Lopez Quiambao, Jr., a caring husband, father, and grandfather known for his sense of humor and dedication to providing for his family, passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2022, surrounded by his family. Jhun (an abbreviation of Jr.), as he was known to family and close friends, was born on June 25, 1957, to Roberto and Eulalia Quiambao. Jhun obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering before enlisting in the U.S. Navy at the age of 26. He proudly served in the Navy for 20 years and was a veteran of Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield before retiring. After retiring from the Navy, he worked another 16 years as an armored truck driver before settling down to spend his golden years with his family.
Jhun is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons Reggie and Renan, his daughter Reza, as well as six grandsons. His family has organized a memorial to honor Jhun’s life to be held at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary on September 26th at 4:00pm. Funeral services will be the following day on September 27th at 2:15pm at Miramar National Cemetery.
