Robert Michael Coffey's Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maryann Coffey; two sons, Ryan M. Coffey and James P. Coffey; mother, Julia "Judy" M. Eastman; sister Patricia Swanzy (Jack); sister-in-law, Marilyn Probst (Gordon); brother-in-law, Oliver "Ollie" Miller; nephew Sean C. Swanzy; Nieces, Meghan C. Swanzy, Carrie A. Munkvold (Aaron); great nephew, Tyler and great-nieces, Ellie and Meagan Probst; two aunts, Sister Elizabeth Coffey and Mrs. Rita Krim; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Coffey. Robert served in the Army National guard of Wyoming and the Air National Guard of Iowa and the Reseerve of the US Air Force He received a B.S. in Economics in 1968 at Regis College, Denver Colorado., and a M.S. in Economics in 1971 at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyo. Mr. Coffey's career focused on all areas of insurance within financial institutions. He worked for Postal Financial Corporation, Sioux City, Iowa, from 1971 to 1982; Security Pacific Insurance Group, San Diego, CA 1982-1992; Bank America Insurance Group, In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his name to Mount St. Scholastica, 801 S. 8th St., Atchison, KS 66002-2724.
