Robert "Bob" Charles Larson's Obituary
Survivers include his beloved wife of 62, years, Margie; daughters, Roberta "Bobbie" Weaver (Jack) and Paula Moore (Brad); sons, Daniel Larson and Chris Larson. Bob also leaves behind his four granddaughters, Lisa Weaver, Jessica Weaver, Katie Moore and Lori Moore; and honorary grandson, Jamie Moore. Born in Batavia, Illinois, Bob was a proud WWII Army veteran, serving in the South Pacific. He married Marguerite in 1947 and raised his family in San Pedro, CA. He attended trade school, and in 1950, opened Larson's Body Shop in Wilmington, CA, retiring to Valley Center in 1989. In his youth, Bob was a champion gymnast, and as an adult, enjoyed bicycling, fishing, hunting, skiing and reading. He loved the ocean. Mammoth Lakes was one of his favorite places and he never missed an opening day at Crowley Lake.
