Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred; brother, Sidney; sister, Reatha; children, John, Jim and Cindy; and grandchildren, Hayley, Jessica, Lauriah, John, Justine, Taylor, Joy and Jared. He served as a Sergeant with the National Guard in the Korean War. He was born in Indianola, Pennsylvania and has been a residence of Escondido since the 5th grade.
