Richard "Dick" Whiting Hadinger's Obituary
Dick is survived by his loving wife Bea and brother Tom, six children: Peter, Tom, Jane, Mary, Bill, Tim, their spouses and 15 grandchildren. Dick was born in Fort Atkinson, WI to Frederick and Marie Hadinger. He and his younger brother grew up working in their parents' jewelry store. He attended the Univ. of Wisconsin; then, for health reasons, moved to Arizona State University where he earned In 1955 Dick moved to California where he met Beatrice Moroney. During their 52-year marriage, they raised a loving family of six children. Dick retired as an aerospace executive, following work at RCA, then a 26-year career at General Dynamics. He applie Dick had a passion for sailing. In retirement he spent most of his time on the water. In Mammoth Lakes, CA he planned and oversaw the construction of a home. On the lakes, he applied his patience to his other passion – fishing.
