Dad,
I have so many great memories of spending time with you: playing, working, serving, fishing, building ..... You always took an interest in our lives and always lended a helping hand as long as you were able. In your final years I had opportunities to be the one to lend a helping hand which I enjoyed just as much because it was still time spent with you. I will miss spending time with you for the rest of my life. You set a great example of a life of love, kindness, fun, hard work, daily devotions, service and perseverance.

I went to high school with Tim and Paul where their dad worked for a period of time. And, I have to say, that the world has truly lost a special person. Mr. Allen was always so happy and cheerful whenever I saw him. I will never forget how he always seemed to know if I was having a bad day and would ask, "What's wrong Sunshine?"(Though I'm sure he did that with all of the girls.) Then, he would give me an encouraging verse and a hug, which always made me feel so much better. My heart goes out to the entire Allen family. You will be in my prayers. God Bless.
