Ms. Hester was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean Foley in 1989 and Robert Foley in 1995; sisters LaFonda Benson in 2000 and Mildred Foley in 2004. She is survived by her son Gerald Hester; daughters Jacqueline Hester, Carol Breneman (Fred) and Sharon Carewe; grandchildren, Michael, Darrell, Cheryl, John, Patrick, Charlene and Paul; great grandchildren, Samantha, Ivo and Owen She was a fitter/tailoress for 20 years. She enjoyed freelance writing, interior decorating and gardening. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
