Phong is survived by her husband, Cam Tran ; her sons, Can Tran, and Cam Tran, Jr.; mother, Nhiem Pham; sisters, Quy Nguyen and Hoa Pham; her brothers, Kien Pham, Thang Pham and Quang Pham. Mrs. Tran was born in Vietnam. She was married to Cam Tran on April 8, 1978. Phong was a generous person who was full of life and was always helping people. She took care of her family and friends and was known for her sense of humor and positive attitude. Phong loved to cook and listen to traditional Vietnamese music. She was active in the Boy Scouts and the Church of the Resurrection in Escondido. At the time of her death she was a Communications Systems Engineer at SAIC. She was previously a software
