I loved Phil! He was so beyond amazing and he meant so much to me. He made me feel as if I am not alone and always listened to me; gave me sound advice and I am devastated to hear of his passing. The world has truly lost a bright light; although his beautiful soul will always remain a special star in the sky. I love you with all of my heart Phil! 💕🌸
I met through a friend despite being actual neighbors for a long time as funny as that it. I feel like people don’t always remember the first time hanging out with someone, or remembering and an orgin story but I do. Once we started hanging out, it was a fast friendship and he quickly for a time became one of my best friends. We’d hangout almost every day, listening to music, riding the 50 going to school and hanging out in the neighborhood…some of my favorite memories with him was just walking around the neighborhood in the middle of the night talking about life. I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with him in my formative years- he made growing up fun. My condolences to the Bruscella clan. RIP Phil, thank you for the memories.
There's not a memory I have growing up that doesn't involve Phil. He has always and will always be remembered as a fun, caring, passionate friend. Remembering all the early mornings going to watch him ride, the days at the beach, all the fun/reckless/dangerous stunts he would do that would terrify all our parents will always be a part of what made him who he was. More than anything though Phil was an amazing friend. We spent so much time together he was like a brother to me and was definitely like another older brother for Alasdair. My deepest condolences to Mary, Joe, and Tony. Phil will never be forgotten or loved.

Phil was a part of our family for so many years. I will treasure all the wonderful memories we had together with my two boys and Phil. Growing up down the street, Phil was always around having fun, being goofy, creating daredevil games, and just being boys. He will always be a part of us. My heart grieves for you Mary, Joe, and Tony. My deepest sympathy. He will be missed.

I have known the Bruscella family for quite some time, I myself have lost both parents to aggressive cancer and I know the tole it takes on your loved one and also your family. Watching someone you live go through what he did is unbearable. If you guys need anything please don’t hesitate to ask. Our family is always there for you guys. Phil is my age and I can’t believe he’s gone, I don’t have a ton of memories to share but what I do know about Phil was that he was a good son and brother. Phil welcomed me into his group of friends at a time in my life when I needed friendship the most. He had an innate way of getting your mind off of anything that was bringing you down and finding a way to make sure you forgot all about it and had a fun time instead. Phil always made everything so fun. He was always welcoming, kind, thoughtful, and caring, but with a biting wit to make sure you knew he wasn’t any softie. I was the only girl regularly hanging out with the group at the time, and Phil, always the gentleman, rarely let me pay for a drink and always looked out for me. He always made sure I was safe and made me feel included. His optimism and energy were unmatched and will be sorely missed. I’m forever grateful for the time we spent as friends and I hope I can carry on the legacy of his welcoming spirit and kind heart in his honor. I send my deepest condolences to his family and other friends during this difficult time of grief.
