Petra Basquez Escalante's Obituary
Petra is survived by her close companion, Porfiro Dominguez; son Felix Escalante, Jr. (Holly); daughter, Teresa Rubio (Ubaldo); grandsons, Jesus Nevarez and Armando Escalante Michalski; granddaughters, Karla Votaw and Karina Rubio; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Escalante, Sr., in 1984. Petra worked for Palomar Medical Center for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She liked to dance, play at the casino's and loved all kinds of music. She had a great sense of humor with much faith and patience for all. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
