Penny Lynn Jungman's Obituary
Penny Lynn (Fridley) Jungman, also known as Peeps by her close friends, peacefully passed away on 6/27/2023 at Palomar Hospital. Penny was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1956 but lived most of her life in Escondido, Ca She is survived by her husband Glen. They had been married 40 years. They have two sons, Robert and James and two grandchildren Hans and Harley. She preceded in death by her parent's Grover and Mary Fridley. She has three siblings. Terry (Fridley) Shovlowsky and brother in law Rob Shovlowsky, Sister Sandy (Fridley) Reed and brother in law Richard Reed. She also has a brother Ken Fridley and sister in law Joanne Fridley.
Penny graduated from Orange Glen High School and then went on to work at Palomar Hospital for almost 45 years in the nutrition department. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting for which she won many awards. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Costco. We teased her alot because any time we would call she would be at Costco for something.
Anybody who knows Penny knew a loving and kind person with a heart of gold. She would always take time to stop and help with anything that was needed. She attended the New Hope Church and served as the secretary on their board.
