Pedro Velazquez's Obituary
On July 11, 2022, our brother Pedro passed away at the age of 53.
Born on July 11, 1969, in Tijuana, Mexico, he along with the rest of the family immigrated to Escondido, California, in 1977. Pedro graduated from Escondido High School in 1988. Aside from a stay in North Carolina, he was a lifelong resident of Southern California and enjoyed baseball, going for long walks, and reading.
Pedro was preceded in death by our parents, Heriberto and Luisa Velazquez; brothers, Heriberto and Javier; and sister Silvia. He is survived by brothers Rene, Martin, Raymond, and Eleazar; sisters Leticia and Maricruz; and eleven nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held starting at 10am on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary followed by a burial at 1:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Escondido, California.
