Mr. Jeffers is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jackie Jeffers of Escondido; son Paul Allen Jeffers of Escondido; daughters Pamela Mary Schmitz (Rex) of Milpitas, and Lynda Jane Boehm of Escondido; brother Argil Ray Jeffers (Joan) of Macomb, Mich; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He served in the U.S. Navy He owned and operated a janitorial service. He was a real estate agent and worked for the City of Escondido in Street Maintenance. He was employed by Chrysler Corp. as a millwright for 12 years.
