Mrs. Garmon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Max; her daughter Shanda Hahn (Chuck); her son Scott Garmon (Traci); her grandson Daniel Smith (Melinda); granddaughter Rachel Smith and her fiance' Will Ireson. She founded, and was the first president of, Escondido Republican Woman's Club and helped to found the library for St. Mary's School.
